Photodissociation of NO2 at 355 nm: pair correlation

摘要
The core-sampling technique, combined with the state-selective REMPI detection, is applied for the study of the scalar pair-correlation between the internal state distributions of the NO and O(P-3(2,1,0)) photofragments. The rovibrational distributions of the NO cofragment revealed by the time-of-flight (translational energy) measurement of the O(P-3(j)) fragment show clear j-dependence. The angular distribution of each individual fine-structure state of the O-atom also exhibits distinct correlation with the internal states of the counter NO fragments.
