摘要：

The authors examined the relation between on-site availability of a catheterization laboratory and 1-year survival in 5,242 patients with myocardial infarction consecutively registered in 24 Spanish hospitals. Patients admitted to hospitals without such facilities were. at similar risk of dying within 28 days and 1 year (taking into account main patient characteristics) compared with those admitted to sites with a catheterization laboratory.
