Linear dipole response in a reverberation chamber

摘要
A new spatial correlation function is derived for the axial electric field and is compared with the previously known spatial correlation function for the total electric field. The new correlation function is used to determine the average power received by a linear dipole antenna in a reverberation chamber. The result for the average received power agrees with the previous result for an arbitrary impedance-matched antenna derived by the angular spectrum method.
