摘要
A method for coating single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) by amine-terminated TiO2 nanoparticles using TiCl4 as starting materials was presented. The influence of dispersant polyetherimides (PEI) on the coating morphology of composite powders was also shown. The versatility of this method could be extended to other oxides and was used to prepare new functional nanocomposites. The titania particles in high acid environment possess positively charged surface and therefore linked with PEI+-SWNT through hydrogen bonding, which was not homogeneous.
