摘要：

This study examined the association between age and parameters of diastolic function by Doppler tissue imaging at the lateral mitral annulus in healthy subjects. Multivariate regression analysis showed that age was the most important variable affecting the measured parameters E', A', and the E/E' ratio. Similar to traditional Doppler methods, age should be taken into account when Doppler tissue imaging is used to assess left ventricular diastolic function.
