摘要：

This article describes the use of on-line seminars as part of the curriculum of a freestanding distance education graduate program in psychology for middle-aged adults. Structural, pedagogical, technical and contextual issues are addressed, along with an evaluation of these courses. We discuss applications of this technology for residential institutions and conclude thai exciting, interactive, graduate-level educational experiences can be created using simple e-mail systems.
