摘要
The pressure effects on the magnetic properties of Ca3Co2O6 have been studied in a powder sample by using both AC and DC magnetometry, The results show that the low temperature ferrimagnetic phase. resulting from antiferromagnetic coupling between ferromagnetic Ising-like spin chains. is reinforced under pressure. We show that this reinforcement can be described in terms of the interchains bond-length compression. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
