Transport and magnetic properties of A(1-x)(3+)B(x)(2+)MnO(3) (A=La,Y or Nd,B=Ca,Sr or Ba) magnetic perovskites

摘要
A(x)(3+)B(1-x)(2+)MnO(3) perovskites have striking magneto-resistance properties showing effects close to - 100% in fields of a few tesla in some cases. When x = 0.3, magnetic and transport properties are qualitatively similar with a resistivity peak below T-c, but there are enormous quantitative differences depending on the A and B cations present.
