摘要
The micro-elastic meshing wheel transmission (MEMWT) mechanism is a novel mechanical mechanism based on the principle of space curve meshing, which is quite different from conventional surface meshing. Considering the impact of the diameter of the tines on meshing, a corrected equation of space curve meshing is worked out in this article and compared with a space curve meshing equation established in a previous study. The corrected equation should make the design of MEMWT mechanisms more valuable for small devices or microdevices with two crossed shafts under load. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
