摘要：

This article presents the results of a three-quarter study (summer, fall, spring) of the infeed flow stream to the City of Ames Resource Recovery Plant with respect to material composition and compares the data obtained during 1989-1990 with former data from a study conducted in 1977. Significant differences were found in flow stream composition between the two periods. These differences along with high inter-sample composition variability have implications for the design of future resource processing and separation plants.
