摘要：

One- and two-photon excitations are used to induce molecular conformation change and reorientation in phenylamine azo-dye polymer thin films with photoisomerization effect. One- and two-photon optical pumping produces large reversible anisotropic third-harmonic generation variation in different polarization directions. The results are interpreted in the framework of a modified theoretical model including angular hole burning and molecular reorientational mechanisms. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
