摘要
XPS-UPS techniques were employed in order to identify the different Mo suboxides produced by hydrogen reduction of bulk MoO3 at different temperatures. A bifunctional MoO2(H-x)(ac) phase is formed on the surface of MoO2 produced by this reduction process at temperatures between 623 and 673 K. Dehydration of 2-propanol and the hydroisomerization of 1-hexene and n-hexane were interpreted using these dual (metal-acid) functions of MoO2(H-x)(ac). (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
