摘要
Metal-silica nanocomposites with different metal volume fractions have been prepared via solid state exchange reactions induced by ball milling followed by a thermal reduction treatment in H-2 flux. Samples of the same composition were also prepared by ball milling mixtures of nickel with amorphous silica. The evolution bf the preparation process has been monitored by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Electrical properties of the final samples were examined as a function of composition and preparation method.
