摘要：
This review provides an overview of the basic science and clinical findings for compounds that are currently used or that may soon enter widespread use as analgesics for the long-term intrathecal treatment of pain. Additionally, insight is given to the pending advancements in drug therapy that will ensue from the increased use of novel suspension media and cell transplants.
