摘要
Appropriate handling and processing of prostate needle biopsies is critical for an optimal examination by pathologists. Reporting by pathologists should be accurate, unequivocal and concise, giving the information needed for the urologist. Quality parameters need to be developed to survey the performance of pathology laboratories. (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier B.V.
