摘要
CdSe and ZnO clusters have been produced by laser ablation or bulk powders of cadmium selenide and zinc peroxide, respectively, and studied by time-of-flight mass spectroscopy. Clusters of enhanced stability ("magic Clusters") have been observed in both series Of Clusters, CdSe and ZnO. It has been found that addition of alkylamine to the bulk powder precursors significantly increases the abundance of the magic clusters in the series. it is Suggested that alkylamine plays a catalyst role in the formation of magic Clusters.
