Epoxide rearrangements using dilithiated aminoalcohols as chiral bases

摘要
Dilithiated norephedrine and ephedrine have been utilised in the enantioselective rearrangement of cyclic epoxides to allylic alcohols, with dilithiated norephedrine generally giving the best enantioselectivity. Dilithiated ephedrine offered better levels of substrate conversion, but with lower enantioselectivity. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
