摘要
Two partially deuterated liquid crystalline monomers 1, 2 and side-chain polymers 3, 4 therefrom were synthesized. The principal order parameter and biaxiality of the monomers were determined from their H-1 and H-2 NMR spectra. The H-2 orientational order of the polymers was also evaluated, which showed the coexistence of different phases over certain ranges of temperature.
