摘要
This paper presents novel photonics imaging techniques; currently being developed to noninvasively detect corrosion and surface cracks beneath paint in structural members. The spectral, angular and polarization properties of the scattered light are used to detect and image corrosion and surface cracks beneath paint, up to a thickness of 120 mum.
