摘要
The occurrence and stability of quantized vortices in mesoscopic semiconductor open quantum dots and waveguides is described and illustrated using numerical simulation. Prospects for engineering persistent vortex states for possible application in quantum computing is discussed. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
