摘要
Turn milling is not a very widely used process. But the development in the last decade has shown a number of advantages over other conventional processes. Due to the rather complex kinematics of this process the geometry of the tool and its position according to the workpiece is very important. Practical results enabled a comparison of the roughness between the centric and eccentric turn milling with different process parameters. At the same time the results demonstrated that vibrations have an enormously large influence on the quality of products. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
