摘要：

This report summarizes the first multi-game match between an Othello World Champion and a strong program named LOGISTELLO. The match was held at the NEC Research Institute in Princeton, NJ on August 4-7, 1997. LOGISTELLO won the match with the perfect score of 6-0. A clear conclusion from this result is that the best Othello programs have become stronger than any human player.
