The Strategic Planning Society - The first 30 years

Over the past 30 years, the Strategic Planning Society has been a major force in promoting strategic thinking and action both in the private and public sectors. It has also played a key role in the development of this journal. This article, by a past Chairman, explains how the Society has played this role by surfing the frontier of strategic thinking and networking among strategic thinkers, gurus and practitioners. it reminds us how dramatically the strategic agenda has changed over the period and explains how the Society has grown and stayed relevant for today and plans to do so into the next millennium.
