摘要
Predictions of dark matter detection rates for terrestial detectors are given within the framework of supergravity grand unified models with R parity invariance. These models predict that the lightest neutralino, <(chi)over tilde (0)(1)>, should be a component of the cold dark matter over almost the entire parameter space. Relic density calculations are described and the parameter space is limited to 0.1 less than or equal to Omega(<(chi)over tilde 10>) h(2) less than or equal to 0.4. The effects of recent accelerator experiments (measurements of the top quark mass and b --> s+gamma decay) on predicted detector event rates is described. Detector event rates are shown to range from about (10(-5) to 10) events/dg da. Effects on the event rates by varying the bounds on Omega(<(chi)over tilde 10>) h(2) and from non-universal soft breaking masses are discussed.
