摘要：

Dance requires a unique combination of aesthetics and athletics. Dancers are vulnerable to a wide spectrum of traumatic and overuse foot and ankle injuries that result from the intrinsic demands of dance. This article outlines the causative factors of injuries, the specifics of diagnosis and treatment, and provides recommendations for assisting the dancer to return to full activity.
