摘要
This paper proposes a novel hybrid chaotic genetic algorithm (HCGA) to solve the short-term generation scheduling of hydro system. The integration of chaotic sequence and genetic algorithm with a new self-adaptive error back-propagation mutation operator are developed, which can overcome premature and increase the convergence speed. Simulation results have demonstrated that the proposed approach is feasible and effective for the applications. (C) 2002 IMACS. Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
