摘要
In this study, an attempt is made to compare the three most common figures-of-merit used in the recent literature which include the initial G value (G0), the dose constant, d or sometimes k', and the dose required for 90% pollutant decomposition (D10). Using a particular application, it is shown that the three are related and each may be used to calculate the others. It is shown that the dose constant, d is the most appropriate figure-of-merit for the majority of systems. This model is shown using PCB degradation data for irradiations in propanol and isooctane.
