摘要
The catalytic oxidation of methyl-isobutyl-ketone (MIBK) in low concentration was investigated over HFAU, NaFAU (X and Y) and CsFAU (X and Y) zeolites. For a given reaction temperature, the following activity pattern was observed for the conversion into CO2: CsX > NaX > CsY > NaY > HFAU. The complete conversion of MIBK into CO2 was observed at 300degreesC over CsX zeolite, and this exceptional performance is reported for the first time. A linear relationship between the conversion into CO, and the basic strength of the zeolites was found. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
