Cation disorder effects in RBa2Cu3O7-x superconductors

摘要
Five mixed rare-earth RBa2Cu3O7-x samples have been prepared, each having a fixed R average radius of 1.053 Angstrom, but with increasing variance, sigma(2), Of the R cation radius distribution. The superconducting T-c's were found to vary linearly with sigma(2) although the dependence is small (dT(c)/d sigma(2)=-1160(70) K Angstrom(-2)). Similar behaviour was observed as the oxygen contents of the samples were decreased. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
