摘要：

The variety of mechanism classifications is reviewed to give a survey of the evolution of this basic analysis of mechanisms over the time. Classifications, catalogues, and basic elements of mechanisms are illustrated as the means that have been used to overview mechanism design and give unifying principles for existing mechanisms.
