摘要：

In an effort to assess permanent pacemaker surgical complication rates and the financial implications, all pacemaker surgeries at our institution were analyzed over a 30-month period. Pacemaker implantations were evaluated for acute complications, adverse clinical events after implantation, total cost of complicated and uncomplicated care, and the incremental cost of complicated care.
