Efficient synthesis of cyclic poly(oxyethylene) by electrostatic self-assembly and covalent fixation with telechelic precursor having cyclic ammonium salt groups

摘要
Synthesis of cyclic poly(oxyethylene) by electrostatic self-assembly and covalent fixation was analyzed with telechelic precursor having cyclic ammonium salt groups. The telechelic precursor comprising a single polymer unit was formed under appropriate dilution. This caused the deassembly of the aggregrated form in bulk and the subsequent covalent conversion in balancing the charges between cations and anions lead to the cyclic product.
