摘要：

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shortterm safety and efficacy of the STARFlex Occluder for transcatheter closure of atrial septal defects with difficult anatomy. Transcatheter closure of the defect was attempted and successfully performed in 5 patients; the "stretched" defect diameter ranged from 12 to 24 mm and the implanted devices ranged from 23 to 33 mm.
