摘要：

A small library of porphyrin derivatives whose fluorescence emission changes on binding to protein surfaces has been developed as a protein "fingerprinting" array. When incubated with different proteins, the array yields a characteristic response, specific for every protein analyte. At the same time, this design allows for the rapid screening of the porphyrin library for the identification of high affinity protein surface ligands. Copyright © 2003 American Chemical Society.
