摘要
Poisson's ratio (mu(0)) of polyacrylamide (PAAm) gels was estimated. The value of mu(0) for PAAm gels was found to be 0.457, which is close to that for poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) gels swollen in the mixture of dimethyl-sulfoxide (DMSO) and water, but is higher than the value for PVA hydrogels.
