摘要
With the rise and sparkle of graphene research, an era of two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials is coming in the early 21st century. Numerous graphene-based materials as well as other inorganic or organic graphene analogues with 20 structures have been developed, bringing about new breakthroughs in materials science. The unique 2D structures offer an ideal platform for developing new-generation materials with fascinating properties and potential applications. Among various applications, the research of catalysis has been greatly facilitated along with the development of the 2D materials, leading to discovery of the catalysts with high activity and selectivity. Herein, we briefly review recent research advancements for 2D nanostructures in catalytic applications including photocatalytic, electrocatalytic, and catalytic organic systems.
