Formation and properties of reaction layers of cobaltite electrodes on bismuth oxide electrolytes

摘要
Interaction of electrodes consisting of perovskite-like rare earth elements (REE) and strontium cobaltites with Bi0.75Y0.25O1.5 solid electrolyte has been studied. Formation of solid solutions La1-x-ySrxBiyCoO3-delta (x = 0-0.5; y = 0-0.1) as well as (Bi1-xCox)(1-y)YyO1.5 (x=0-0.4; y =0-0.25) can occur in the diffusion layer between cobaltite electrodes and Bi2O3-based solid electrolytes. The crystal structure, electrical conductivity and oxygen permeability of these solid solutions have been investigated. It has been found that the values of the conductivity and oxygen permeability of La(Sr,Bi)CoO3-delta solid solutions decrease with increasing bismuth content. The results of the investigation of polarization resistance of oxide electrodes in contact with Bi0.75Y0.25O1.5 solid electrolyte are presented.
