Spectral shifts of ultrashort pulsed Gaussian beam

摘要
Spectral shifts of a ultrashort pulsed Gaussian beam are discussed from the viewpoint of the beam. We obtain the spectral shifts in the whole space, taking the far field spectral shift as a special case. The generalization to a system containing optical elements and to higher order Gaussian beam is straightforward. Non-spectral shift conditions are obtained.
