Formation and structure of Ni-Ag layer by electrolytic deposition

摘要
Ni and Ag were electrolytically deposited from the same solution as a crystal mixture with very fine size. The chemical composition of the deposited layer was examined by an atom absorption spectrometer. Evidence was obtained that the proportion of Ag decreases with more negative potentials, because the deposition rate of nickel is controlled by a charge transfer reaction and increases with more negative potentials.
