摘要
Reliability assessment of an individual generating station can highlight the effect of a particular configuration and thus provide detailed and comparative information for decision making when planning that station. This paper is concerned with individual generating station adequacy and security assessments, A series of indices are proposed, These include adequacy parameters associated with Loss of Generation and indices implicitly indicating operating security. A systematic technique and a prototype computer program for large individual generating station reliability assessment have been developed, The suggested indices and techniques can be applied in practical engineering situation to provide scientific information for individual generating station planning and design.
