Hydrogenated and chlorinated fullerenes detected by ''cooled'' modified matrix-assisted laser desorption and ionisation mass spectroscopy (MALDI-MS)

摘要
Matrix-assisted laser desorption and ionisation mass spectrometry of hydrogenated and chlorinated fullerene derivatives has been investigated. By using a combination of two different matrix molecules and a laser wavelength at which one of the matrix constituents shows a strong absorption, it was possible to obtain fragmentation-free mass spectra from C60H36.
