摘要
The velocity field and mixing behaviour in the so-called partitioned pipe mixer were studied. Starting with the same physical model as in previous studies, an exact analytical solution was developed which yields a more accurate description of the flow than the previously used approximate solution. Also, the results are in better accordance with the reported experimental data. (C) 1999 Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
