Dynamic behavior of polar nanodomains in PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3

摘要
Temporal relaxation of the electric field-induced polarization in single crystalline PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 has been measured at temperatures 180 less than or equal to T less than or equal to 230 K and times up to 10(4) s via polarization-optically induced linear birefringence, Delta n(1/2). The data are excellently described within the framework of Chamberlin's dynamically correlated domain theory. Whereas activated Curie-von Schweidler-type cluster-flip behavior prevails in the paraelectric regime, T > 210 K, Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts-type domain wall relaxation characterizes the ferroelectric nanodomain state at low temperatures.
