摘要
Earlier work has shown that the resonant frequency of a magnetoelastic sensor shifts linearly in response to temperature [Sens. Actual. A 84 (2000) 205]. In this work it is shown that over the temperature range examined, 20-60 degreesC, the temperature-frequency response is dependent upon the magnitude of an applied DC magnetic biasing field, and can be switched from negative, through zero, to positive. Experimental results are compared with a theoretical model that describes the effects of temperature and applied DC magnetic field on both the mechanical and magnetoelastic properties of the sensor material.
