摘要
Cardiovascular control represents a complex linking of input and output parameters such as heart rate, arterial blood pressure (ABP) and blood flow. These and other parameters are not independent but have mutual interactions. The mutual interactions are described through multivariate autoregressive (AR) model structure. Bivariate AR model evaluates the closed-loop relation between respiratory rate (RR) interval and ABP. The trivariate AR model quantifies the RR interval-ABP relation and simultaneously accounts for the influence of the respiratory activity.
