Wide-range amplified spontaneous emission wavelength tuning in a solid-state dye waveguide

摘要
Amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) in an organic-dye- (DCM-) doped poly(methyl methacrylate)/silicagel hybrid material planar waveguide was investigated. ASE wavelength control and tuning in a wedge waveguide were realized. The tuning range of the waveguide can reach as much as 30 nm. This method can be applied to Ride-range wavelength tuning in solid-state tunable lasers. (C) 2000 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: 230.7370, 140.3680.
