Vortexlike elementary excitations in the Rokhsar-Kivelson dimer model on the triangular lattice

摘要
The energy gap in the Rokhsar-Kivelson dimer model on the triangular lattice is computed by the classical Monte Carlo method. The lowest excitations are identified as Z(2) vortices (visons), and their energy is computed as a function of the momentum.
