摘要
Through the use of different curing catalysts, Powderlink(R) 1174 crosslinker can yield a wide variety of durable finishes with good mechanical properties. Glossy, smooth matte, or aesthetically pleasing wrinkle finish powder coatings are obtainable simply by changing the catalyst. The unique ability to achieve such finishes through catalyst selection is discussed in some detail. Additives that affect the pre-cure rheology, to produce smoother, thicker defect-free coatings after cure, are described. Applications and potential economic advantages are also outlined.
