摘要
Reaction of Ln(ClO4)(3), (Ln = Nd or Gd) with L-serine at pH 6.0 yielded the aqua hexanuclear clusters [Nd-6(mu(6)-O)(mu(3)-OH)(8)(H2O)(24)] (ClO4)(8) . 6 H2O (1) and [Gd-6(mu(6)-O)(mu(3)-OH)(8)(H2O)(24)] (ClO4)(8) . 6 H2O (2). They are isomorphons and comprised of a regular octahedron of 6 lanthanide ions encapsulating a mu(6)-O2- anion and capped by a mu(3)-OH group on each face. The structure can also be regarded as an oxo-centered octahedron embedded in a cube formed by 8 mu(3)-OH groups.
