摘要
In exploratory visualization, one of the biggest challenges is the development of techniques that are effective for analyzing large-scale data and information sets. An approach to multiresolution visual exploration is presented. The approach involves all stages of the visualization pipeline, including, data abstraction, data mapping, data selection and navigation, and evaluation of each stage.
